“During winter nights, the last thing we want is to be cold in bed. This doesn’t have to mean cranking the heating up and leaving it on throughout the night. Warm your bedroom shortly before you plan to go to sleep before turning down the thermostat to avoid wasting energy overnight. Use the timer built into your system to make sure that the room’s warm enough, just when you want it to be.”
